Analyze Your Master
Analyze a finished master and review the technical measurements of the exported audio file. Master Check examines mastered audio for loudness, true peak, dynamics, clipping, stereo behavior and frequency distribution without applying universal quality scores or mastering targets.
Review the measurable properties of your finished master.
Master Check reports technical measurements from an exported master, including loudness, true peak, dynamics, stereo relationships, clipping and spectral distribution.
The analysis is informational and does not replace professional monitoring or an engineer's listening assessment.

Master Measurements Overview
Relative spectral distribution: these values describe the frequency content measured in the finished master and are intended for comparison within this report, not as universal mastering targets.
Need an engineer to review the finished master?
If the measurements raise questions about the finished master, AREFYEV STUDIO can review the exported audio and assess whether further mastering or remastering work is appropriate.
Master Check: Finished Master FAQ
Answers to common questions about analyzing finished masters, interpreting mastering measurements and reviewing exported audio files.
What does the AREFYEV STUDIO Master Check analyze?
Master Check analyzes measurable characteristics of a finished master, including integrated loudness, loudness range, RMS level, crest factor, true peak, sample peak, full-scale samples, stereo correlation, mono compatibility, channel balance and spectral distribution.
Is Master Check a mastering service?
No. Master Check is an automated technical master analysis tool. It provides measurable information about the submitted master file and describes objective technical characteristics. The results do not replace critical listening or an engineer's assessment.
Are my uploaded audio files deleted after analysis?
Your file is used only to generate your Master Check results. It is not used for AI training or marketing, and the uploaded file is deleted after processing.
What master file formats does Master Check accept?
Master Check currently accepts WAV, MP3 and FLAC master files up to 100 MB. The measurements are performed on the exported audio file itself rather than on the original DAW project.
What if Master Check detects an unusual characteristic in my master?
Automated findings describe measurable technical characteristics of the uploaded audio file. They do not determine overall mastering quality or artistic suitability. If a technical observation requires a change to the audio, the appropriate next step depends on the processing already present in the master.
What if I no longer have the original mix or mastering project?
If the original mix project is unavailable, AREFYEV STUDIO can assess the exported or already processed audio file and determine whether a remastering approach is appropriate. Existing processing cannot always be removed, so the possibilities depend on the condition of the supplied file.
Can Master Check analyze an already mastered file?
Yes. Master Check is designed for exported masters and can measure an already processed or mastered audio file. The measurements should be interpreted in the context of the processing already present on the file. If further mastering work is required, AREFYEV STUDIO can evaluate the master for a possible remastering approach.
What does LUFS tell you about a finished master?
LUFS is a measurement of perceived loudness, not a universal mastering-quality score. Master Check reports the measured value without assigning a target, pass/fail status or overall quality judgment. Its meaning depends on the material, processing and intended artistic result.
Master Check provides technical measurements for finished masters. Automated analysis cannot evaluate artistic balance, arrangement, performance or musical intent.
