Year 2017 gave us many libraries for NI Kontakt 5, and we highlighted some of the most interesting in terms of sound and feature set. Realistic orchestral libraries, creative sound designs, excellent emulations of old synthesizers and drum machines. Here are seven favorites!
Sample Logic Electro City
We were impressed by the sound of Electro City. This is a huge number of high-quality samples that were included in the package. Combined with the Sample Logic engine, they provide a wide field for creativity. If you like complete control over the sound, this package will generate incredible ideas.
Looking for a library of the future? Sample Logic Electro City will be the starting point for vibrant and vibrant sampled algorithms.
Strezov Sampling Arva
Want beautifully recorded string samples? Need a “true” legato? Create your own layers and parties, adjust their attack and dynamics, volume and displacement for each of the elements. Save solutions and open them in other choir libraries. If you need a solo choir or backing vocals, you can use this product for tight parts. Arva has three microphone positions: Close, Decca tree and Hall with a built-in convolutional reverb. In fact, these are two choirs in one. Girls and boys were recorded separately. And you can combine them as you like.
Output Analog Strings
The dreamy sound of the synthesizer of the 80s is still relevant today, thanks to shows and retro films. Due to the lack of worthy competitors, Output has taken a bold bar with its library for kontakt 5. 20GB of materials will give a true orchestral sound. So far, nothing sounds like Analog Strings and from year to year the desired level rises. Therefore, we distinguished this tool from the rest.

Wave Alchemy Evolution
Known for its huge drum libraries and sophisticated presets for Kontakt, Wave Alchemy Evolution has complemented its most ambitious product.
Known for their huge Kontakt drum libraries and sophisticated instruments, Magic Alchemy complemented its most ambitious drum instrument Transistor Revolution with a comprehensive library of antique drum machine sounds, enhanced by all kinds of percussion and flexible sampling capabilities. If one library is not enough for a convincing purchase, consider the intuitive XY mixer and macro controllers that are worthy of attention. This is a powerful tool for the future.
Heavyocity NOVO Modern Strings
NOVO is another two-headed orchestral beast. We have access to this carefully selected pack of acoustic sounds. The library is divided into various sections and includes many articulations and options. NOVO focuses exclusively on the concept of “ensemble”.
In addition to traditional string samples, Heavyocity has added acoustic recordings that comprehensively fit different styles of music. Imagine using Punish sonic warp elements, Evolve sonic terrain and Gravity spectral insanity.
What Heavyocity created is simply brilliant.
Sample Logic Rhythmology
Creative product provider Sample Logic has released their most exciting tool for contact 5: Rhythmology. It is designed to provide inspiration by deconstructing a library of more than 5 GB and more than 1000 loops. This is a well-designed and impressively assembled tool.
Sample Logic has excelled in packaging the collection of cycles into a carefully designed tool. It works with the free version of Kontakt from Native Instruments, so the entry barrier is nominal.
