DAW Sonar gave a second life, thanks to BandLab. The updated version includes all the premium features of SONAR Platinum, such as the award-winning Skylight user interface, flexible ProChannel modules and a powerful 64-bit mixing engine.

It is worth noting that some third-party products of the extended version are no longer included (they will have to be purchased and installed separately). But this is not a minus. You get a free full-fledged host for working with sound. A new installation of Cakewalk by BandLab through BandLab Assistant will not affect previous SONAR installations. The program is not limited in functionality, but rather integrates conveniently and interacts with previously used plug-ins.
There is no public announcement of the Mac version yet, but Windows users can download SONAR for free on the official website BandLab.
