Serato has released “Serato Studio”, a free version of the DJing software.
Serato Studio Free is a light version with limited functionality for Windows only. The software comes completely free, with the ability to save and export projects.
Available functionality:
- only one audio channel (unlimited in the full version);
- four DJ decks (unlimited in the full version);
- four scenes (32 in the full version);
- audio can only be exported in mp3 format (the full version supports export to WAV and Stems from NI).

Serato Studio is the best rhythm maker. Are you a beginner or an advanced DJ, you can create drums or work with remixes thanks to many free built-in sounds and samples. No additional equipment is needed, all that is needed is a laptop, a program and inspiration!
Serato Studio Free is not a complete digital audio workstation, such as Waveform or Cakewalk. However, it can be a useful music software for DJs and beatmakers.
